We recommend that all high school students continually review basic computation skills and take math their senior year in order to maintain and retain their math skills prior to entering college. Knowledge of basic mathematical concepts including computation with fractions, decimals, and signed numbers is a necessary pre-requisite skill. Is there anything I can do to prepare for the Academic Skills Assessment? A photo ID is required to take the Developmental or Transfer Placement Test. If you are currently a high school student or graduated in the last 3 years, please bring a copy of your high school transcript and ACT scores to your advising session in case they're not already loaded into our system. Math Placement Results: English Placement Results: Reading Placement Results: Placement Tool Please enter your high school GPA: Students may challenge their math placement by receiving a referral from an Academic Advisor to take the Developmental or Transfer Placement Test in the Assessment Center. Academic Advisors will assist you with this process. Students may challenge their English or Reading multiple measures placement by interacting with instructional departments. You may use the placement tool below if you have a recent High School GPA and ACT scores within the last three years. Academic Advisors will use a multiple measures approach and work with you to determine the best academic course placement. Placement Process - English, Math and ReadingĪll entering students must meet with an Academic Advisor and are required to submit high school transcripts, college transcripts and ACT scores (if available).
